10 Years of DabbledooMusic!
This month's theme is the bass guitar - laying down a solid rhythm alongside the drums and bridging the gap from the rhythm section to the melody instruments. Few are the bands who did not have a dedicated player on the low-end, and many are those who put it to the front for great effect. Think of your favourite band - be it funk, soul, reggae, rock, post-punk or art pop: the bass guitar was, and will continue to be, the cornerstone of the groove for a long time to come.
Stevie Wonder is a living legend whose influence on the development of modern music is only balanced by his hefty contribution to pop music with a plethora of hit songs. A strong social conscious, talent by the bucketload and a willingness to explore sonic boundaries - this and more is explored in our latest show. Enjoy!
